An increasing number of publications about various aspects of urban forests is being published. EUFORIC Publications

  • The first European text book on Urban Forest and Trees, prepared by the experts of COST Action E12, Urban Forests and Trees, and edited by EUFORIC staff forms a welcome edition to existing literature, especially within educational programmes. More information and ordering details for this 2005 book can be found at the Springer website.

 

  • Urban Forestry & Urban Greening is a refereed, international journal hosted by EUFORIC, published by Elsevier and aimed at presenting high-quality research with urban and peri-urban woody and non-woody vegetation as its main topics. Elsevier can provide more information about subscriptions.

                                                         

 
  • Special Urban and Periurban Forestry issue (co-edited by EUFORIC) of the Urban Agriculture Magazine
     
  • NeighbourWoods for Better Cities- Tools for developing muntifunctional community woodlands in Europe. Konijnendijk, C. Schipperijn, J (Eds), Frederiksberg 2004.   • The Woodland Trust, the UK's leading conservation charity dedicated to the protection of the native woodland heritage, has produced a series of urban woodland management guides designed to support the work of the professional site manager.
